Dr. William Isaacson "Willie" became Senior Pastor of First Baptist in August of 2013. He came to us from serving as Senior Pastor of Trinity Baptist Church in Gunnison, Colorado. He was also the founding pastor of Crossroads Community Church in Imperial, Missouri. Willie has also served in positions of administrator, singles minister, youth minister, educations minister and missions minister in various churches both in Missouri and Colorado.

Willie was born and raised in the state of Washington and attended the University of Washington where he earned a Bachelors degree. He then earned a Masters Degree at the University of Tulsa, where he was also introduced to Jesus through the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. In 1987 he answered the call to ministry.

Willie is a graduate of Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, earning a Master of Divinity degree and later a Doctor of Ministry degree. He has taught Biblical Studies for Missouri Baptist College extension at Jefferson College and Constitutional History for Western State University (Colorado). He is also a published author, his last work being "Shine Bright, A Prayer Journey."
Willie has been married to his bride, Donna, for 30 years. They have four boys; Caleb, Joshua, Timothy and Andrew. God's call of ministry extends to this whole family who are actively involved with God's work.
